內容說明：

    NetScreen-Remote 是一種在用戶主機【桌面或筆記本電腦】上執行的軟體，簡
    化了對網路、設備或公共或非信任網路中其它主機的安全遠端接入。通過採用
    IPSec協議和第二層通道協議[L2TP]，並以證書作為額外的選項，可以實現安全
    性。為了構建安全的通信通道，必須把這一軟體與IPSec網關結合使用【如
    NetScreen家族安全設備】，或與執行IPSec兼容軟體的另一台主機結合使用【如
    NetScreen-Remote】。

    NetScreen-Remote 為通過以太區域網或調製解調器遠端撥號接入連接到IP網路
    的桌面和/或筆記本電腦專門設計。NetScreen-Remote 與過去的 NetScreen-
    Remote 產品採用的實現結構有著很大的差別。這版NetScreen產品提高了兼容能
    力、安裝和使用簡便、並提供了一系列新的VPN 功能。另外它還提供了強健的轉
    換機制，允許用戶簡便地更新以前 NetScreen-Remote 產品中的配置設定。

    NetScreen-Remote VPN 客戶端軟體新增的功能包括：新的身份認證選項(包括
    智慧型卡)；通過與公司中央安全管理解決方案NetScreen-Global PRO 的更緊密
    的整合，企業可以更容易地進行部署和管理；以及與 RADIUS 伺服器的專屬連接
    特性。而新的NetScreen-Remote Security Client結合了遠端VPN 客戶端軟體和
    Sygate 公司領先的個人防火牆軟體功能。

          to private networks has caused network security administrators 
          to place additional requirements on client software. 
          Remote access clients must now provide secure authentication 
          and VPN policy retrieval while remaining easy to deploy 
          and seamless to end users. The software must enable access 
          from any network or medium the end-user will use including 
          dial-up, broadband, and wireless without any additional 
          configuration. Additionally, since most deployments provide 
          remote users complete access to private enterprise 
          networks, the client solution must protect the mobile 
          user𠏋 machine as well as the VPN connection against attacks 
          initiated from the Internet or from within the VPN. NetScreen 
          meets these requirements with the NetScreen-Remote line of VPN  
          and Personal Firewall client software delivering centrally 
          managed ICSA certified VPN software for all Windows desktop 
          platforms and offering additional host-based security and
